History of Higher Education: Student Movements, Human Capital and Expert Culture – International conference

In 18 – 19 November 2016, the International Conference  History of Higher Education: Student Movements, Human Capital and Expert Culture will take place in Bucharest. The conference will take place at the Faculty of History of the University of Bucharest (Bd. Elisabesta, nr. 4-12).

The conference will take place in the framework of the reseconference-posterarch project by the National Research Council Economic Planning, Higher Education, and the Accumulation of Human Capital in Romania during Communism (1948-1989 and will be supported by the project From corporatism to diversity: A neoinstitutionalist Study of Representative Student Organisations in Post-Communist Romania (code PN-II-RU-TE-2014-4-2296, contract no. 379/2015).

The researchers working on the NEOSTUD project will also participate with two presentations: “Political” Opportunity Structure for Student Collective Action in Post-communist Romania and A Tentative Map of Student Representation in Post-Communist Romania: Coallitions, Cleaveages and Fragmentation.
